Freshman Move in Day in Photos

Story and photos by Victoria Fennell

Large orange bins were a common sight throughout the move in weekend.

A celebratory atmosphere greeted Purchase's newest freshman class as they moved into their new dorms for the Fall 2019 semester. Fueled by a barbeque held in the quad, students and their families pushed large bins full of their belongings to their new homes in the residence halls.

"I'd say it was extremely easy because the school was very organized," said Jeff Graber, a parent who had just said a last goodbye to his oldest son. "When we got here people were directing traffic and the next set of expectations were always laid out for us."
